
FORM Academy (UCLA)

10th - 12th
The UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture is very pleased to announce the third year of FORM Academy - a multidisciplinary summer arts program for 25 high school students (entering 10th-12th graders) from under-resourced schools in Los Angeles County. We are looking for participants who are imaginative, energetic and curious; interested in exploring the arts and creativity in an interdisciplinary format; and who want to experience what life could be like on a university campus.
Acting and Performance Summer Institute

9th - 12th
The UCLA Acting and Performance Summer Institute is a three-week, UC credit-bearing, intensive program for high school students in theater arts, encompassing performance training classes, movement-based techniques, a final performance project, guest workshops and field trips.
Art Summer Institute

9th - 10th
The Summer Art Institute is designed for talented and highly motivated high school students. Each two-week session carries three units of UCLA college credit and is structured around a combination of daily, focused studio work, artist lectures, field trips, and a final exhibition.
Dance/Performing Arts Summer Institute

9th - 12th
The UCLA World Arts and Cultures/Dance Department's Dance/Performing Arts Summer Institute is an award-winning, unique, nine-day program for advanced high school students that integrates the disciplines of dance, choreography, spoken word, music, and identity exploration, and offers guidance to students in assessing the role the arts can and will play in the next stage of their lives.
Design Media Arts Summer Institute
9th - 12th
Geared specifically for high school students, the Department of Design Media Arts (DMA) at UCLA department offers the DMA Summer Institute, a two-week program with morning and afternoon classes in graphic design, web design, audio/video, and gaming.
Taught by professionally trained and well-experienced instructors using the most current software and technology, the program culminates in the creation of an online portfolio students can use for college applications. It also provides students with a rare opportunity to sample college life in a cutting-edge design department, while earning four units of pass/no pass UC credit.
Digital Filmmaking Summer Institute
10th - 12th
The UCLA Film & Television Digital Filmmaking Summer Institute gives high school students from across the country and around the globe an unparalleled opportunity to study filmmaking at one of the most prestigious film schools in the world. The Digital Filmmaking program is designed for talented and highly motivated rising juniors and seniors.

This program is a two-week, intensive production workshop. Students are immersed in the creativity and technique of cinematic storytelling and challenged to create entertaining narrative projects.
Central Theatre Group

9th - 12th
Center Theatre Group's Student Ambassador Program is the ultimate experience for L.A. County High School Students who love the arts: an entirely free seven-month program designed to transform passionate students into arts leaders, team players, advocates, and engagement experts.
The Visual, Media, and Performing Art Institute

9th - 12th
Inner-City Arts' Visual, Media & Performing Arts Institutes offer self-select after-school and weekend workshops to middle and high school students. Every workshop, no matter the art form, provides students with a valuable opportunity for creative exploration, performance, individual and group study, connections to mentorship opportunities, and career-development support.
Broadway Dreams

9th - 12th
The Wallis is proud to be the LA area home for Broadway Dreams, one of the nation’s leading training programs for aspiring musical theater artists. We will host a week-long intensive here in June culminating in a performance in our Goldsmith Theater.

For four weeks, you'll learn what it means to be a professional artist; dedicating every day to your chosen art form. All levels of experience are welcome to apply. The Community Arts Partnership(CAP) Summer Arts Program is a free program for Los Angeles County high school students.
